en I feel this summer we've signed some top-class footballers for Newcastle United to add to some great players we already have at this club,

en When I signed for Celtic I did say to them that it would be best for the club and myself to maybe look at things in the summer but they were quite keen for me to sign for the extra year, which I did eventually. Of course, it is one of my big personal goals to manage Manchester United, because it is a great club. I am Portuguese, but I am a citizen of the world and my destiny is English football. Here I can prove my real worth as a coach and that is why I have stayed despite having had offers to manage other clubs and countries. I'm learning a lot here, perhaps more than if I was a No.1 at another club. In spite of what some people seem to think, I have the players' backing.

en With its sheer numbers, it's the most complete class I've signed, but it's also the best class I've signed.

en When you look back, this might be the worst class he ever signed because he didn't have a lot of time to recruit. But if you think about what he did at Nebraska and the quality players he recruited, he should do well for Buffalo. Florida didn't do as well under Urban Meyer in his first year and neither did Notre Dame with Charlie Weis. It's usually that second class where you see results.

en You can never take any hockey club lightly and we haven't thus far and we don't want to now. Sweden is a great hockey club and they can put together 60 great minutes, well we saw it today. (An upset) can happen to anyone. They've got great goaltending and some great skilled players so we have to be ready.
