It's a new form of access to gambling, not a new form of gambling. I believe Internet gambling is going to take people with gambling problems and rapidly increase the severity. They are going to rack up more debt more quickly.

The American public has accepted legalized gambling as a means to spend their money for entertainment. America is on a gambling binge. The more available and accessible it becomes, the more gambling is acceptable to people.

If it is free, it is generally considered not gambling. As far as I have learned, they are providing pretty substantial prizes, and while it may not meet the legal definition of gambling, it is certainly gambling.
