en There's been a number of fires along this road at vacant mobile homes. Thank God no one has been hurt or worse.

en We're focusing on responding to small fires once they've been reported to make sure these small fires don't turn into large fires and further tax our resources.

en I've had some kind of stomach virus for the last few days. It just got worse and worse.

en The thing is, if we don't get into a pattern, this is going to be misleading to a lot of people. If we go into another dry spell, we're going to see fires. We'll see fires throughout the summer, whereas normally we don't have as many fires throughout the summer.

en It's worse now than it has been because we really hadn't had busy brush fire seasons the last three years, so it's a combination of lack of fires quite frankly, and dry conditions.

en There's a dangerous thrill - a rush - in goodness. If you don't keep your wits about you, if you don't have a very sober take on what you're doing and who you're doing it too, you can inadvertently set little fires. The very people you are helping can wind up, emotionally, in worse shape than they were before.
