We've finally got some guys back there who are tough mentally. We've gotten these big interceptions when teams have been driving on us. We've been tired, but we've been able to focus and concentrate.

You have to be mentally strong. Mentally tough. ... The minute you think about being tired, being sore, that's when teams take it to you.

We've got to stay strong mentally. If your guys don't see a ball all game, it is tough to stay focused. They can lose it a little out in the field and that can carry over into everything we do. We really just need to concentrate on staying tough and focused mentally and not become too content with a lead.

We were mentally tough at halftime. We went out in the second half, stuck two touchdowns in and finally got the momentum. That was important for us to find out that we were mentally tough.

Colorado State and New Mexico are two good teams.
