en I thought the way we came out and banged the ball around in the first game we were over this and were going to get ourselves three of four and head into next week. To turn around and two games away like that is pretty difficult to take.

en We thought we were going to come out and have a good game. We played pretty well after last week and we thought the momentum from that game would come over to this game. Alabama came out and ran the ball and kept our offense off the field.

en We've been pretty banged up. Outside the first game, we have not had our whole team healthy. Hopefully, this week, we will.

en It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

en I thought we played pretty intense in the first game, and the second game was a little more difficult. I was hoping that we could pull through and hopefully not go to three games.

en Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. But the good thing is we didn't have any conference games this week. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.

en We had a week off and I thought we played all right. I thought in the second half we had the ball more in their zone and they had it in ours in the first half because of the wind, but it was such a tight game. I figured at the beginning it would be a one-goal game and it was. We have a lot of new faces in there but we did pretty well.

en You've got to tweak your game to the rule changes. Now it's a flag if you turn into a guy while trying to make a play. It didn't used to be that way. I got flagged one time for turning my head. 'You didn't turn it away,' the official said. Now why would I want to turn away from a ball that was coming my way?

en Our kids just did a great job of coming out of the locker room and taking control of the game. We just talked about trying to turn up our pressure a little bit. We had done that pretty well in the first half, but we did really well in the third quarter?. It was a pretty frenetic pace, but it was the kind of pace that we like in that game. We were able to get them to turn the ball over quite a bit. That was really the key to it.

en Defensively we had trouble stopping the running game. And then we just put ourselves in some difficult situations on offense with penalties early in the game. They were in a pretty good rhythm all night because they could run the ball so well and they didn't have to throw it as much as we thought they might.

en He got banged in the head pretty bad midway in the second period, so he got kind of dizzy, but he came back really well. He's been in some pretty big situations before.

en It's difficult to not play for two weeks. We're all creatures of habit. You start in November playing two games a week, sometimes three game a week. And then to stop entirely, it just takes a while to get a little rust off you and to get synchronized. I don't think first round games are things of beauty. It's why I think you see a lot of upsets.

en That's kind of their M.O. to run the ball. It's going to be a physical, tough SEC game. They've always given us trouble running the ball. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. If you look at the history, they've had some big games against us. We've got to stop the run. That's every week, but especially this week.
