I'm pretty sure Jesse can put those things behind him. Besides, we've got lots of guys on our team with hopes of going to the NFL one day.

We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that. I was 24 or 25 at the time and coaching guys that were 36 and 37. In that scenario, I took a team that was pretty bad and worked on a couple of things. We got more guys involved in the offense. We started winning games and we upset the No. 1 team in our league. That got my juices going.

We weren't even on the road map, then all of a sudden we are Stanley Cup champions. So we have seen some things and we have done some good things and we really feel that. This is pretty much a whole new team. We lost about 13 guys from last season so we're still trying to figure some things out. The good thing is these guys are hard workers and they'll give everything they have.

I believe we have to get going on something. I've been assured that this does not mean that the LMDC is going to stop listening and responding. There are lots and lots of things that can still be changed right now. Lots of things, and I don't see a cause of stopping the construction.

We hadn't been under two minutes for our 1-5 guys at all and it was just under 1:40. I think they're getting in a lot better shape. Jesse was right behind Eric most of the race. He's coming back pretty strong after having mono earlier in the season.

I know they're an excellent team. (They have an) inside-outside game; lots of length; lots of ability. They're men underneath, and we have to combat that by playing smart, blocking out and taking five guys to the defensive glass.

I think we're pretty much a different team because we have more of an identity now. Guys are becoming more comfortable with their roles and things are beginning to jell for us. If we stick together, I think we're going to be able to do some special things.

Donald Copeland

I think we have a pretty good team. We're still young, we still do things defensively that need some explanation at times. We play very hard, we practice well, we stay focused and those are all good signs. We have a lot of talented guys, so if you can keep that focus, we should be pretty good. I think we are developing into a good team.

There's some offensive linemen to be had. Linebacker is a pretty strong position. It looks like you can get some defensive linemen, but not a lot of them. Teams are going to different fronts and doing different things, so it creates more room for a different style of lineman. You'll take a different guy for a 3-4 team than you would a 4-3 team, so that creates a different look and view there. There are more of those 3-4 guys than there are 4-3 guys at end.

You play the main character, who is Adrian Delaney, a young woman. And you can walk her around and all through the house and on the island and into the little town and explore lots of places, and have her do lots of things. And so, being interactive, you can make lots and lots of choices.
