My thoughts on the reverse grid races are exactly the same as most of the other guys ? I'm definitely not a fan of them.

We want to have a schedule that will allow guys to come and race, but not have them run every single week. Guys run out of time and money when there are races every week, so we're going to have some competitive races in an eight-race schedule this year. The ultimate goal for 2007 is to have as many as 14 races.

It's been such a competitive season. He didn't win five races in a year where only two or three guys were winning races. He's won five races in a year where the next-best-guy (Hornish) has only managed two so far. That's very impressive.

Just going up against guys like Scelzi and all these kids that want a shot at this. I really get up for it. It's really big if you can win it because it's two races in one. That's what's a turn-on for me.

The idea is that you get all these different data sources put into a local information grid so that you are a subscriber to the grid. You can call down the information for whatever you need, when you need it.

As an athlete, you have to have that feeling that you can beat the odds, come back sooner than expected. Otherwise, the guys who are like, 'What's going to happen?', those guys it takes three months longer. It's better to have the reverse attitude.

We saw that he was frustrated with himself a little bit. As older guys, we have to stay on him, make him think positive thoughts. Just one pitch at a time. Get ahead of the hitters. Be the pitcher he can be and forget about some of the thoughts that he has. Just pitch his game and not worry about what people expect from you. He's going to come around.
