I thought we had him. You can see now that he has some special qualities about him. No question about it. All in all, I thought our guys did some great things against him. It was those two big plays that got us.

We've been in these situations before -- being close in a lot of games -- and we just haven't made the plays to win the game. I thought we did that tonight. I thought this was the first game all year that I thought we deserved to win. I thought we did a great job. I think we brought our toughness to the table, and we just had a few things slip through our fingers.

You've got to pay special attention to both of them, and I thought everybody did a good job not giving them time and space. When you give guys with that talent time and space, they'll make great plays. We did a really good job in the neutral zone, not letting them skate with the puck.

I thought if I worked hard enough, I could play special teams. I thought I was athletic enough that I could at least contribute, run down the field and make a couple plays, hit some people. I had no idea that I was going to be able to play.
