en I've been focusing more on the defensive side of my game and that's making me more confident on offense.

en I am 100 percent confident in Rob's ability to do a great job as defensive coordinator for us. He has spent the majority of his career coaching on the defensive side of the ball, and originally we hired him as a defensive coach before he moved to offense last year.

en Flip has upped their offense. He has them really confident in what they're running offensively, but they're also one of the best defensive teams in the game.

en We were concerned what it would do on the defensive side. The game plan was to catch the puck, push it up and let the offense take care of business.

en Ashley brought her all-around game to the gym every night. There really isn't any part of the game that she can't do, and her ability to shoot the three really helped us open up our offense. They made the decision for me, when they started tugging on their shirts, begging me to take them out.

en I'm happy that Curtis is making an intelligent long-term decision. He has been focusing on helping his classmates. I feel he is confident in them and can now concentrate on what is best for his future.

en He can run. He can catch. He can block, ... He's our long-snapper and he plays as well on the defensive side as he does on offense.

en It came down to making some defensive stops and executing on offense.

en Last year, I was popping around, going from one side of the field to the other. It's a little easier to just concentrate on one thing. ... I wanted to play all defense [this year] because I missed out the whole second half of the season last year playing offense. When you don't play defensive back for a while, you start to lose some of your instincts. Well, not instincts, but you start to second-guess yourself. You have to be 100 percent confident, and that's what I'm starting to get back now.

en It was a performance that we needed. Defensively that was probably one of our better games as far as weak side helping the strong side, whether it was post-ups or pick-and-rolls. This was one game where I think our defense contributed to our offense. A lot of times, it's the other way around. So you like having a game like that this time of year.
