I know I'm frustrated ordtak

en I know I'm frustrated right now, and I'm sure the girls feel the same way. Our inconsistencies are killing us. We just can't get anything going on offense. Hopefully we can get this thing turned around. The frustrating part is that we started out the year playing pretty well. Right now, we need some kids to step up and get us through this thing.

en It's hard when you're going up against our defense. I hate to say it, but they know what we're going to run pretty much. It's pretty easy for them to figure it out, and I think it's frustrating for an offense, especially in the running game, because that's such a big part and that's what everyone's looking at right now. The best thing is, we have two weeks left.

en I think we are still playing part good and part bad, ... When we executed our offense, we got a lot of layups and when we didn't they just jumped on our backs and started firing from every part on the floor. They were killing us like in a shooting drill.

en Hopefully everyone has the same mindset. Hopefully we can get this thing turned around. We're in the fourth year of this franchise, and we've got the best team we've had since we started. So I tell you, I feel good about our team and our season. And I feel good about playing this week and going up to Buffalo.

en We're happy to be 6-5. We've turned the corner. The thing is, we were 2-5 at one time (after having) lost four in a row and were frustrated. We were searching for some identity. The kids turned it around. That's what is unique about baseball that you can't do with basketball. You have to do get after it the next day.

en It was my career high and I feel good about that. But I have to come out in the next game and do the same thing. The thing for me is just having fun. When I go out there and have fun, everything else comes to me. Offense comes, defense comes, and everybody else starts playing well.

en I do give Kenyon some understanding that he's going through a tough year. I know he's very frustrated. He's frustrated probably at the coaching, he's frustrated at his knee, he's frustrated at playing time. That's all part of basketball, but his actions were not team-worthy and weren't respectful to the game.

en I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. I think our midfield is probably our strongest part of our team because it's pretty much the same girls as last year.

en I was pretty frustrated. I hit every green on the front 9 and was 1-over. It was frustrating to have a chance and not be able to step up.

en What will kill us is the same thing that's been killing us since before I got here – numbers. We have 10 guys playing both ways (offense and defense), and that doesn't work in high school football.

en So part of the plan from the beginning is we've got to get somebody who can solidify that thing. Preferably if you can get two, you get two. And we still don't know the answer. We're betting on the come on both of these kids. But we think we have a pretty good feel for where it's at. We've still got some holes, but we think we filled one of them.

en Whenever you can be involved with something that sends a positive message in your community, it's a good thing. Seeing kids having fun with their parents, that's a wonderful thing. It makes you feel proud to be part of something like that.

en The thing is, I want to play real characters and not all girls can be pretty. The thing is, you get these girls who say 'I'm a character actor' then you see them in a role and nothing has really changed but the outfit.
