The low point was when we were 6-11 and had just lost our leading scorer [in Frazier]. But I'll certainly remember the way this team refused to quit and finished the year extremely strong. … I'm very proud of this team, and I think they did a fantastic job in a lot of adverse situations.

I'm so proud of our team, we've been through so much. I was proud we were able to come out and fight. We lost our leading scorer and our third- or fourth-leading scorer and we still came out and never gave ourselves any excuses from (the dismissal of Bob Huggins) to anyone getting kicked off the team. I really like the way we finished the meet. We had an extremely young team, and it is nice to finish strong. It is a good sign for our future. We have some good young talent. Our seniors did a wonderful job of leading and teaching this year. I am proud of the team. We are close enough to be competitive in the future.

I am very proud of our team. That is the best we have played. We came back from some adverse situations against a really, really good team. South Alabama can really hit. We continue to get better at-bats each game. This was a great win.

We ran into a really strong team. They are the best we have faced all season. I'm extremely proud of the girls. They never quit and were relentless despite being down. They continued to work hard.

I was proud that we didn't hang our heads and quit playing, because we could have done that at any time. We played hard. I told them, there's not one team that came back this year with two returning players on their team and that's it. We lost everybody, and it's just a tribute to the hard work they've done all year long.

Overall, this was a strong out-of-conference showing at some positions and a good break for the team before they come back to conference action Tuesday. I was pleased to see how strong we finished against Menasha in our third match of the day. It showed that while everyone was tired no one on our team was willing to quit.

The White team did a fantastic job this season. I am proud of the way the ladies came together and played team basketball. They have a lot to be proud of as they accomplished a lot throughout the year.

We were on another team's floor. They were number three seed, so they were a tough team. They shot the ball real well. We stopped their leading scorer, one of the leading scorers in the state, and kept him to five points for three quarters.

If I was going to get it, I was going get it. If not, I wasn't going to jeopardize the game to do it. I don't think people are going to remember me as the leading scorer at my school, I don't think that's going to define my career really. Being a team player ... that means a lot to me.

What we are most proud of is these young guys really wanted to be part of the U.S. basketball team. They didn't care who was the leading scorer. That's unique these days.

I'm really happy for Chris. He came out and played extremely well and really helped out the team. Dallas put in another strong performance. He is a fantastic putter and hit the ball well too. It turned out to be a great team.

I am glad to get out of here with a win. This game got really sloppy and it looked like we were starting to let it slip away. I am proud that we finished strong and earned the victory. I thought we shot the ball extremely well in the first half and that really went a long way towards this win. This is a big win for our young team in a very difficult place to play.

The chemistry last year was fantastic. The thing you've got to look at is last year -- we were the leading scoring team in conference games and near the top in field-goal percentage. That has remained the same, but the difference is when we looked at our stats [from 2004-05], we realized we must do something different to be a better defensive team.

We kept the same group of guys together and I think that consistency in this team in helping us because we finished very strong last year. At the beginning, we weren't very strong because I was driving with Scott for the first time and the same for some of the members of the team.
