When we are grateful ordtak

en When we are grateful for the good we already have, we attract more good into our life. On the other hand, when we are ungrateful, we tend to shut ourselves off from the good we might otherwise experience.

en One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. Then when he saw it settled beside him, he said: This is of the grace of my Lord that He may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored.

en The thing that bothers me the most is I just thought we shut it down. Was our goaltending good? No, it wasn't good. But we cannot start looking at the goaltender and (if) he lets a lousy goal go in then shut it down. If we're not getting the saves, we better win the game 6-5 or whatever it has to be. But to shut it down, that's the wrong way to go here. And that's what disturbs me the most.

en The structures around you also emanate energy, ... and if these structures are placed in a harmonious fashion based on feng shui guidelines, you attract good energy, and therefore you attract good fortune and good luck.

en Let's choose today to quench our thirst for the ''good life'' we thinks others lead by acknowledging the good that already exists in our lives. We can then offer the universe the gift of our grateful hearts.

en That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely Allah is Forgiving, Grateful.

en But we who are wiser
shut ourselves in
on either hand
and no one knows
whether we think good
or evil. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. But we who are wiser
shut ourselves in
on either hand
and no one knows
whether we think good
or evil.

en [His opponents have recognized his potential from first-hand experience.] He was pretty impressive, ... He had a good fastball and curveball the first four innings. Then he found a changeup somewhere and brought that out with him. He had three quality pitches and he was as a good as advertised, I know that.

en He's got good skill, and I think he gives our team depth, and maybe he'll surprise us. In the new world, you're going to have to have some players that are good bargains. At the worst, he'll be a good player for us in Grand Rapids and if we get into injury situations, he'll probably be a good guy to call up with his NHL experience.

en Hype goes a long way. But when you actually show it, you tend to shut people up. Ain't nothing about this phony. That's pretty good for a team that everybody talks about not having enough pitching, or not enough this or not enough that. But we're not going to read into all that stuff. We're just going to keep playing.

en One cannot be a good historian of the outward, visible world without giving some thought to the hidden, private life of ordinary people; and on the other hand one cannot be a good historian of this inner life without taking into account outward events where these are relevant. They are two orders of fact which reflect each other, which are always linked and which sometimes provoke each other.
  Victor Hugo

en And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? / And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

en What we're trying to do with the home market is just encourage people to experience good draft beer. If they're experiencing it at home, they're going to want to experience it at ballparks, at bars. That's good for the industry, it's good for us.

en He's grateful he's been given a chance to live his life. Like all human beings he has good and bad.

en We all have known good critics, who have stamped out poet's hopes; Good statesmen, who pulled ruin on the state; Good patriots, who, for a theory, risked a cause; Good kings, who disemboweled for a tax; Good Popes, who brought all good to jeopardy; Good Christians, who sat still in easy-chairs; And damned the general world for standing up. Now, may the good God pardon all good men!
  Elizabeth Barrett Browning
