en We can play better than that, that's the bad thing. We were good tonight. On a great night, they don't get over 40. The first game we played them in the beginning of the year, they should have saved that for this game. This was a blowout. I hate games like this.

en We're not great and I've never said we are. But if we play hard and our seniors are great leaders, we can be pretty good. We've won 21 games. It still comes down to the Penn State game. If we win that game, we're (a half-game out of) first place in the Big Ten.

en They are one of the top teams in the league. They've been there all year. They're winning hockey games. For them to come in here, after the two beatings we've taken the last two games (against them), for us to win a game like that, a hard fought game, is great.

en We scheduled (this game) last year, knowing that it was going to be a good game and a good crowd. I thought (tonight's game) was a great atmosphere, and a great gate for them.

en We've got the games at the end of the year where any of those could end up being a national TV game, and that probably looks like it was set up that way. Cincinnati, being a national game, is going to be great, and we're starting to develop a little rivalry with those guys. So all in all, I think it was good.

en Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court).

en It feels very good (to have the CCL clinched). Last year we had to go to the wire with Ready. This year to get it with two games left in an eight-game season is great.

en Our V-boy game is ready to launch now with operators all over the world. We have even improved upon the great 3D graphics of our v-girl game as we are using motion capture animations for all scenes of the game and we have included over a dozen interactive mini games within the game. It is great fun to play.

en Technically, it feels good. Last year [in Sweden], I played more games, 75 games. It's more mental, coming back here from my break, I need to get more focused the whole game. I've made some decisions that haven't been that good. I feel confident, I know I can play good. Just being out like I was here for a few weeks, maybe I relaxed a bit. It's been a long year. It's been a very intense year.

en What's been so disappointing about this season is not only that there has been a lot of games that we have lost, but that out of our 72 games, we've literally had 50 games were the game was in the balance and if we would have gotten a few minutes of good offense and a few good stops would have won the game. There has been a lot of games that we lost just like we lost today's game.

en His progression has been outstanding. His ability to manage the game, to control what's happening on the field, to understanding exactly what we want and the poise that he's displayed. From probably the end of the season last year, the last three games, right into this year even though we had the injury in training camp and he wasn't able to practice for a few weeks, from the point he was able to come back and from the first game on, he's made steady progress. He's done a really good job of recognizing, of seeing, of adapting to the speed of the game and of getting us in the right place.

en We know what it's about and Fort Macleod has been there a few years ago too, so they know what it's about. We expect a very good game, not much different from our playoff atmosphere here. I think it'll be a great game and following us Grande Prairie plays a little bit later. I think both games will be really good.

en Still, this group won the most games in a season in 23 years. We came into this game winning 17 out of our last 19 games. We gave our community a lot to be proud of. We didn't make them proud with this performance, but one game isn't going to take anything away from their accomplishments this year. That (St. V-M) was a very good team.

en We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.
