I think it is a very good offer price for Waste Management shareholders.

I could imagine no price or combination of price and other conditions to recommend accepting the offer to our shareholders,

particularly important at Time Warner because of the difference of opinion between many large shareholders and management concerning the direction of the company and the lack of share price performance under current management.

With the success of our offer assured, we expect other Sears Canada shareholders to tender their common shares in order to promptly receive our offer price of $18 per share.

If DT Telecom or NTT come in with an $80-a-share offer, management might have a tough time not accepting such a high offer price.

There is no financial sustainability of management system. Operation and maintenance of a proper solid waste management system costs money. The local authority has to generate that money either by the budget/or raise rates and taxes or impose a waste management fee.

I do not think it's a done deal, but it's not a lost case either. A lot of shareholders are going to want an explanation from management why they agreed to this price, which I think is too low.

Price, price, price. We're looking at value instead of price and trying to offer good value to a broader range of people coming into stores.
