en This is the first year I've ever played basketball and I didn't think I'd like it. But after a couple of weeks, I found out I liked it a lot.

This team didn't say a word in the second half, they just came out with a serious look on their faces and played great basketball. They're believing in themselves and each other. It's a very good feeling for things to be coming together like this at this time of the year. It's a real good place to be right now.

en Maybe a couple weeks before, we found out we were a company of the year candidate, but we didn't have any real expectation that we would get the accolade. We're just a little company from Scotts Valley — we're not a real favorite for company of the year under normal circumstances, I would guess.

en We're not playing our best basketball of the year, but we're definitely closer than we were a couple weeks ago.

en We've really come together as a team, and that's what helped us get through the tough times. These last couple of weeks we've played good basketball, and it's paid off.

en We didn't play well. This was our worst game in a couple weeks. But we found a way to win, and that's positive.

en I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

en That's one thing we want to do this year, start off solid right away. It took a while last year to find our identity. A lot of it had to do with the new defense. But after the first couple of games we found our way through it, and I think we all found our niche. We found our roles and fed off everyone else.

en It was a matter of finding our confidence. We played well in a lot of games but didn't win. In the last two weeks we found ourselves. It seemed like there was an aura around the team.

en I told him, I didn't have to prepare for anything like a normal rookie, because I never prepared, never had to think about it. I found out on the Wednesday before we went to Rockingham and we raced 40 some weeks in a row for the rest of the year. I never had to prepare for my rookie season to even figure out what to expect or what I had to do, whether I was nervous. I didn't know how much money I was making. I didn't know how many races I had to go to, I didn't have a contract. I didn't care.

en We found an increasing number of people who like the property but would not use 13 weeks but wanted more than a couple weeks. We adapted to the consumers' demand.

en They played with a lot of confidence and we played very bad basketball. We just came out flat tonight and didn't make shots and looked like we never played basketball before.

en We rose to the occasion and played our best basketball the past few weeks. The end of our season sets a great tone for next year. These are building blocks for us.
