We got into our tempo and were more assertive about getting shots that were in our comfort zone. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. We ran the floor and were able to stretch their defense with our fast break.

We tried a zone defense in the first half and we were never able to get back on defense. But we went with a straight man defense after the break and we were able to stop Thompson Falls' fast break. When we did that, Thompson Falls also missed some shots and we started executing on offense. Once we started to get some shots falling, we just exploded.

We mainly pressure the ball and do what do what we have to do. Coach says, 'Keep your hands up (on defense), and the ball will come right to you.' We just look to fast break and throw it up to our guards.

We needed to step up our defense in the second half, because we looked and played a bit sluggish in the second quarter. We had to keep them to just one shot and to block them out from getting offensive rebounds. We did that and got some opportunities to score on the press break.
