We are going to continue to work on hitting and defense. The Page tournament will help shape up our defense.

We have improve and I hope that we continue to. We've cut down on our errors, know we have to improve in other areas. Sometimes we hit good and we don't pitch good or our defense is not good. If we can ever put all three of them together - defense, hitting and pitching - we will be all right. Hopefully we will do it during the Easter tournament.

We're trying to change the culture here. They got into a passive defense that believed that offense would win it all and the defense got soft. We want to be a hard-hitting defense. What I want is for people to know this defense is tough. If we can come out of this camp with that attitude, I believe we'll be all right.

We're 4-0 and tickled to be there. We've been getting it done with our defense. We haven't been hitting like we'd like to, but our pitching and fielding have been good. When our hitting comes around, we're going to be tough to be beat. We've been winning on our defense so far.

After the Scott County loss, defense completely took over for us. It was all about defense, because defense wins games. Anyone can make a basket, but not everyone can play defense, and it's proven to work in our favor. We showed it again tonight, because it was a war out there.

I think defense ought to be our strength. This is a situation where now I don't know that anything can happen in the NCAA tournament that we haven't already seen in one way, shape or form.

I think the strength of the defense is not going to be one particular position, but how well we play together, ..
