en It's going to be a lot of fun to be back on the ice and play and get ready for the playoffs. It's important for me to get a game and get the timing going. Sometimes it's good to get a break, and I feel very fresh. Hopefully, I get going right away.

en We realize it's our first time in seven, eight years to be in the playoffs, so we've got to feel good about ourselves and feel confident when we go into the playoffs. (This was) an important game, but we don't want to make it too big, either. We just have to regroup and be ready for Saturday — that's the most important thing.

en I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

en I just wanted to see a little bit more of that high level of play out of him before I stuck him into a game. Any game was going to be a tough game. This was an especially tough game. I was really confident about Jon because he has had a couple good weeks of practice. I knew his rhythm was back, his timing was back and his focus was back. I was not surprised. I knew he was ready.

en Those are good teams, and they're all fighting to make the playoffs. Every game is important for those guys. We're going to have to be ready to play.

en I thought it was a good break. You come back, you're feeling fresh and ready.

en If our seniors don't play well we don't win that football game. I also think our coaches did a good job getting us ready to play last week. We need to be just as good this week. This game is just as important as last week's game. We have to win, then hope for some help to get into the playoffs.

en I think the break really helped us. We were on a losing streak going into the break and it was good timing for us to get away from the game. We had a great week of practice and I don't think there was doubt in anyone's mind that we were going to play well tonight.

en We had just lost eight of nine, or something like that, and now we've won three in a row. It's important to go into the playoffs with momentum. We're feeling good about ourselves. It's important for us to finish these three games out playing well so when the playoffs come, we do have some momentum and we're ready to play.

en Before every break you try to get on a high and come back and play like you were before. We were a little too passive at first, but the coaches talked about it on the bench and we went at them more. It feels good to play well and win because then you feel better going to the break and come right back at it.

en I haven't really had a lot of opportunities to get out there and mix it up. It'll be good. The season is winding down, and I definitely want to get my timing back and play a little bit and hopefully be able to contribute during the playoffs.

en We take each game as it comes. You don't want to overlook anybody, because it's real easy to get cocky and we don't want to do that. Every game that we play is important. We definitely have some tough games ahead of us. We just want to get ready for playoffs.

en He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. Every game is important. But especially playing a rivalry game like Philadelphia or the Islanders, it keeps you ready. You want to play playoff-type hockey as you go toward the playoffs.

en They provide us with the Olympic break and we have to take advantage of it. Our expectation will be for our players to come back fresh and ready.

en If your timing is good and everybody else's is not so good, you can be up higher in the Big Ten standings. If you're not ready to go though, your whole season is one day or two days. I feel good. I feel like we're really making progress, but (today) and Sunday will tell.
