And then he hit that one about a foot in front of him in 12, and then he got that on to about 8 feet and made the putt. So he makes his putt, and I say, 'Joe, great putt. Is that a 4? He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. ' And he goes, 'Oh, no. Six.' It was really like a 14 or something.

en I hit a lot of good shots out there today. I had a nice stretch of holes between 10 and 17. It was a good back nine except the bad seven-iron on the 18th. I can't be unhappy with four under though.

I tried to take a little more off than I can chew. I thought it was going to fly into the bunker and it didn't even get close.

en I only missed one green and that was on a par-5 and I left myself with an easy chip, so I never really had to work for pars. It was a nice, stress-free round.
