The crowds have been great for us. They give us a boost, and we appreciate that. We have to stay positive and upbeat and finish this out strong. We need a good game tonight and a good game Thursday.

I think it was good for us. I think some of us were a little tired. We had a lot of games straight through. From (the Iowa) game until now we got a little bit of rest in our legs. If we have a good week of practices, that'll follow through to the game on Thursday.

It helps to have some good games under your belt to feel that way. She's had some great games shooting-wise and that's going to give her a boost with confidence for the next game.

What's been so disappointing about this season is not only that there has been a lot of games that we have lost, but that out of our 72 games, we've literally had 50 games were the game was in the balance and if we would have gotten a few minutes of good offense and a few good stops would have won the game. Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

It was good that we were able to put three of our pitchers in the game today. They won't be as tired when we play four games in the next three days.

It's an important game for us, the first time all the professional players are called. Ireland has a good side with a new manager and will give us a great game. They will play a strong game and it's vital to us to have a good performance. The result is of secondary importance.

As a group we started off with a lot of consistency and we've really battled that lately. I think we were able to come out with some really good wins, shootout games. But we were grabbing at skin of our teeth. Last night we really played good strong game top to bottom. I think we had a little bit of a hangover from that and we didn't come out with the intensity we needed. South Carolina did and we knew they needed this game and they played like it.

You can't expect to have your 'A' game every game. However, what we've done is respond in the big games and that's good to see. The Marist game (a 71-54 win that was televised) was a big one and they responded in that. We also did a good job against St. Pat's (a 68-57 win last Saturday).

I can't make any excuses up. As a coaching staff, we have not done a good enough job of adjusting to the things we need to adjust to, whether it be the schedule, whether it be an injury, whether it be end-of-the game situations with guys tired or not tired. We've got to find a way to do a better job, because we're a good enough team to get it done.

Fedor had a strong game. He was strong with the puck and made good decisions and plays. We're looking for that high energy consistently. Not for two shifts or two periods, but the whole game and hopefully the next game as well. He's aware of how we like him to play.

It was good to see us able to get Wes in the game. He has filthy stuff, but got a fastball in the wrong spot (Wednesday). We couldn't get him in a game fast enough. I give him a lot of credit. He allowed that hit when he came in where they tied the game, and it could have played some head games with him. But, he settled down in the sixth and did a good job.
