en Brandon has been playing pretty well in a lot of different areas and, obviously, on special teams, ... His game as a receiver is starting to form up. You can see it on film. en I think the running backs, depending on the health at that position with our veterans, (will play soon). I think the tailbacks will come in and look forward to some early playing time. I think there are a number of guys that fit into being fast and will hit you. They can fit into special teams. I think you'll see a large number of these guys starting with holding down special teams spots.

en He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. He's a pretty instinctive special teams player.

en We knew there was going to be a chance that he may be released. Coach Sherman coached him up there and knew him very well. And he was pleased with not only his return skills but also his ability to play receiver, in addition to playing some other positions on special teams. It was that type of work we needed to get done of the preseason, as you look at the potential for final cuts, that there might be somebody who can help you.

en We watch every film and it seems like the same things are prevalent every night. Blocking out, getting loose balls, making hard cuts, setting good screens, running back.

en They've had personnel issues at the running back position for quite some time. They are getting those guys back now and I think those guys are playing better and better. I think they're as healthy as they've been all year. I think that's the key to it. They ran the ball effectively down here. Heath Evans was basically playing tailback. I don't think there is anything wrong with their running game; I just think that they haven't had all the players available in all the right spots being healthy this year that can help them develop the running game more quickly, but it's certainly developing nicely now.

en Obviously it was a good accomplishment but the win was more important. The whole game was special teams and that's hard to take, playing a game that's all special teams.

en I've never liked having two kickers. He's taking a spot from an excellent special teams guy - maybe a guy that can't make it at linebacker or wide receiver, but he's so good on special teams that he's worth keeping.

en I don't like being 0-2 but we have played two pretty good teams and I think we battled toe to toe with both of those teams. Our running game right now is pretty sharp. Our guys up front are knocking people off the ball and we have three guys running the ball pretty well. Defensively, I thought we took a huge step. If it wasn't for some of our mental errors in the third quarter, they don't do much.
