He's just a tremendous presence. He has terrific hands, and as effective as he is in the low post, he's just as effective off the lane, at the elbow. He really has a great capacity to drive the basketball. And every time a shot goes up on either end of the floor, he has a claim to it.

I am very excited to announce that Michelle Snow will be returning. Michelle gives us a great low-post presence with unique rebounding and shot-blocking abilities. She's a great young player who has made tremendous progress during her time here.

She usually has the assignment of the opponent's best player, unless it's a post. She takes great pride in what she knows we want her to do. She's also one of the best leaders we've had off the floor. With her temperament, she has fun all the time. She's not a leader that yells or screams and makes demands, but when she does say something it's to the point and the kids respect it. It's been effective for this young group of kids.

He has to dedicate himself to getting into a little better shape so he can run the floor better, and he will have to be a better leader on the floor, and off the floor. He handles the ball well. He's got great hands, good feet. I think he'll be the best post player around, maybe in the state.

But he combines power with finesse. He's got great footwork, tremendous hands; he can shoot the ball up to 17, 18 feet good enough. And he can put it on the floor and go by you, so he's pretty much a complete basketball player.

Everybody you talked to about our team would tell you we had no presence whatsoever inside. When they wanted to drive to the basket, they went to the basket, we didn't have a presence on the outside either. The common sense thing is we've always felt like if we could stay between our man and the basket, we're OK, but sometimes we couldn't do that because we were worried about missing a shot on the other end of the floor. There has to be a commitment to do that.

David is so skilled at the high post and he's a legitimate low post threat. Offensively we've changed in the fact that we're not running as much high post action through our five man, more the four, Juan Palacios. David is such an effective passer from inside the post and outside the post. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. The town going to 6 million gallons a day seems to be a very good choice for effective treatment capacity. Beyond six, I think there is a very big question mark. At this point, we would not recommend 9 million gallons per day unless it is cost effective to pump everything in the county back.

We are virtually playing with no post presence on either end of the floor, and every game we have still been right there. Considering what we are and where we are coming from, we are doing a great job.

I look forward to being effective, ... You can have a great job, but what's the point if you aren't effective?

We'll see how it goes. If P.J. is effective, he'll get the majority of the snaps. If Tashard is very effective, we'll up his playing time a little bit.

It would be more cost-effective and more time-effective for the citizens if we had in-house service.
