I yelled 'get me out' several times, and the next thing I knew I realized somebody was pulling me out of the plane. My instinctive fear was the gasoline.

About the process of growing up ….. What follows is tragic. We stop risking for fear of making mistakes, fear of not fitting in, fear of being embarrassed or humiliated by saying the 'wrong' thing. We learn to reveal very little of who we really are and what we really feel. We sell the richness of our passionate birthright for the security of this burdensome thing called our ‘image’. It weighs us down like a suit of medieval armor, restricting our every move, sapping our vitality and aliveness. We wander through life on automatic pilot, controlled by the need to live up to the false image that we invented.

This market has moved higher on fear and sentiment and Bush may have succeeded in reducing some of the concern. Gasoline is getting whacked right now, which is pulling crude lower. His statements will have a psychological impact on the market but the physical impact is limited.

There's not the same fear element when you play United these days. In the 90s I must have played them 15 or 16 times and I can't even remember getting a draw. But it's not the same now. We knew there would be times when we had our backs to the wall but winning doesn't surprise us.
