Anyone who's a jazz purist doesn't really want to hear 'jazz' attached to our music, and that's something we don't necessarily want either. It's between genres, and that's what we want.

The audience for kids' music is more reliable than other genres. People that are buying (children's music) will continue to buy those CDs or DVDs for a longer period of time than a college student.

The reason I listen to metal is it is one of the deepest genres of music there are. It's meant to move you as a person, physically and emotionally. People only think these are two different genres. But they're very much the same... Rap and hip-hop are about bringing people together to your neighborhood and talking about what happens there. Country music is about the same thing - writing about where you're from, ... You've got to respect (Toby), because he's selling a ton of records right now. It is truly history in the making that the country music world is coming to New York, and joining with Broadway for such a wonderful, unusual and entertaining event. This special concert, performed by some of the superstars from both worlds, will not only highlight the similarities and universality of these two seemingly different genres, but also help expand the audience for each style of music.

Because the music is so varied, it tends to pull [listeners] from different stations. There are many different genres of music. ... Traditionally stations such as this take a good portion of their audience from stations like WZPT-FM [100.7]. But I really think the draw will be from all stations.
