The media frenzy of it is incredible. It's a lot of fun. You just have to roll with it. The frenzy of the whole week is crazy, so I think I'll be able to help keep everyone focused.

We always seem to get players from the Dominican Republic who receive quite a shock by the cold temperatures of April and May in New England. Players are fortunate to come here, be a part of the Red Sox organization, and become familiar with the Boston media who covers this team.

All the guys I've mentioned are playing. I'd just like to see a little more increased role with them to see if these young players can actually carry us to victory against a team with a winning record. Because they are the future of this organization, whether I'm standing here at the podium next year or someone else is.

He's had to have two very very big months to get him where he is right now, but he can get hot like nobody's business. He's probably learned some very valuable lessons through this year. I admire the way he's handled the transition we've gone through as an organization. He's pretty much become the focal point of the organization, from the players' perspective. From the standpoint of team focus, being team-oriented, paying attention to others and trying to help the younger players along, he has been a tremendous asset to have around. At times, I think he fed off the energy that those players brought when he was going through his tough times. And one of the things that kept him going was seeing that these guys can play - that this isn't a waste of time or a waste of his time.

Not because of who you asked about, I think it's unfair to talk about specific players at this time. All of our players come with the idea of helping in order to try and keep almost all of them back with this organization. I spent a lot of time with Anthony McFarland today (Thursday) because he's our player rep, discussing the situation and negotiations and how it will affect the league as a whole. I'm pretty optimistic about the attitude of the Buccaneer players.

That's what we need. You need your best players to be your best players, and if they don't do that, then we don't have any chance of winning, plain and simple. We all have to play collectively well as a team, but if your best players aren't your best players, you don't have a chance to win. The life and the pulse of this hockey team is our young players.

I don't think there's any question that by the year 2007, ... this is going to be a winning organization and a winning baseball team for the first time.

Harry's 17 years with the organization were marked by outstanding team achievements, including the team's first-ever pennant and World Series appearance, and he will be remembered as one of the organization's legends, ... He was also one of the community's greatest supporters and he did much to make the city of Milwaukee a better place for all of us to call home.
