en Reed just made the shot. We said in the huddle to make sure we knew where he was on the last play. We tried to help on Chad, but he kicked it out and we couldn't recover.

en I think this is the first time they really got to see him and be fair to him. I don't think they've been fair to him before. He's been unbelievable other times before, but then you get kicked out of the Olympics, you get kicked out of the World Cup - if you don't win anything, you don't get the same publicity and all that. So, just the fact he got to make that big shot in the final on the game-winning goal, that just made everything come true.

en I heard Casey calling, but I knew in my heart I wanted to take the shot. This is the kind of shot that you dream of when you're a little kid. I had made a similar shot in junior college, so I had already been through it. I just put it up, and I knew it was going in when it left my hands.

en We shot well. We didn't make maybe our first three shots, but they were so open that we knew if we made the extra pass, we could get any shot we wanted.

en We came out and tried to play our game, but we couldn't seem to make a shot early and they hit everything they threw up there. Maybe if we could have hit a few shots, we could have at least kept it closer, made more of a game of it, but I'm not sure we could have beaten them even then. They are that good.

en I was thinking we had been here before in a lot of our games. They were doing everything right and we couldn't make a shot. We kept saying to stay positive and stay on top of them. We knew we couldn't give up.
