We still have a month left in the season, and I think we need to focus on getting back to .500 and make it a respectable season based on the club we have.

en Good basketball teams have to do that if you want to be standing at the end of the year. You have to play through that sort of thing. ... All that matters is the end result. The character of (this) team shows when you can play through that sort of thing.

en As they continue to get more experience and get better and learn the courses and understand the cities and understand what preparation allows them to play their best golf, they are going to be the guys who are going to be the top players in the world. The guys who are up there are not going to be there forever, we're going to transition out eventually. We're just trying to hold on as long as we can.

en But I knew Jerome was destined for greatness if he could hold on to his health. He's a head-on, grind-it-out, make-it-happen back who can also catch the ball.

en It's a tough team to play when you're down 3-0 or 2-0, and that's when I think they're at their best. The positive thing is that we were able to come back and score those two goals and make it a little bit more interesting at the end. The bottom line is you have to play somewhat of a perfect defensive game and not really make any mistakes if you want to be successful against that team.

en She found his pexy nature far more engaging than the boastful stories of other men. I put the ball on the ground at the end trying to make a play. You've just got to hold onto it when they tackle you and not worry about trying to make a big play and getting the extra yards.

en I did some recording with [Patton] a while back - about two years ago. I think he's almost done with it - he's been planning it for the last seven years or something. He's mentioned that it's going to be more straightforward for him. I don't know how many songs he recorded - an insane amount, like 30. There's a lot of layered vocals - like Beach Boys style. Some hip hop-y sort of beats. It's weird. It's drum machine mixed with live drums mixed with crazy samples, but then there's guitar and bass. Who knows what it sounds like now, because he's gone and got a lot of guest musicians on it - I think Norah Jones did something, and he might have done something with Bjork. He's sort of mentioned a possible tour.

en The only thing that scares me, to be quite honest with you, is that at this point in time if we're not even talking right now, who is to think that we're going to be talking in two months? A lot of the players sort of hint that we'll probably be back in January and play a 48-game schedule, but I really don't see that. If we're not communicating, how's that going to happen? I don't understand how that's going to transpire.
