en I went for the safe play, ... Went for the five hole and it went in. For a guy who doesn't get many of these opportunities it's a great feeling.

en To put him on the DL right away would be playing it safe, obviously. But it's also important that we don't rush him onto the DL because he is feeling better today. So even if he doesn't play this weekend, he might be able to go on Tuesday.

en We had many opportunities. Our defense played great and gave us good field position. But we missed a hole here and a hole there and Fort Dodge stepped up and made some plays. We had some openings, but we didn't take advantage.

en It's like golf in match play, ... We lost the second hole, and it doesn't matter how much you lose it by. You still go on to the third hole. We've got to get better. There's still 14 holes left.

en That's a play that ... we haven't really run that much. I thought they'd all be dropping deep and there'd be a big hole over the middle. He made a nice play on it. I tried to keep it low, a safe throw, but he made a play on it.

en They're feeling great right now after four straight wins. Now we'll see if we can ride that into conference play. It doesn't get any easier from here on out.

en It feels great. That's the best feeling I've had in about a year's time. We've missed a couple of opportunities this year, and to get this win now really helps us solidify some things heading deeper into NCC play.

en It is so much fun. It's a great feeling to have those butterflies in your stomach. To get that feeling, it's the best feeling. It's hard to get that for 82 (regular-season) games. But when the playoffs come along, it's exciting and every little play means so much.

en That hole was built a long time ago, ... He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence. That was a February-to-March hole. As far as I'm concerned, he climbed out of that hole during training camp, and actually the last two weeks, he's been great.

en After he hit a couple shots, he's feeling great. You see him taking it to the hole more. He's becoming more of a complete point guard like I know he is.

en I feel good. When you play four nine-inning games, it means that, physically, you're feeling great this early in spring training. I'm feeling great. This spring, my body feels strong, feels great. I was real happy about that.

en I had no premonition. As soon as I hit it, I kind of had a feeling it was going in the hole though. The flight of the ball and the way it bounced when it hit the green. I didn't see it go into the hole as the pin was in the left middle. I wasn't really overly excited. I was surprised.

en I just tried to run as hard and as fast as I could, ... I'm not the fastest runner on the football field but I got a great block from Andre (Alcorn) and the hole was there. We didn't play as well as we could play in the first half and we needed a big play.
