en There's no question we're facing a lot of adversity right now. The young guys, sometimes they just look at you with the big eyes, but they don't know what to do. They expect seniors to know how to take the lead.

en I thought the experienced guys, the leaders, the seniors and Lance (Clarke, a junior) did a great job of playing through adversity, getting great shots and getting the lead back up.

en The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

en When we turned that thing over to them that last day, it was the best senior day and the best response out of underclassmen when the seniors were conducting the drills. We just need more younger guys (as leaders). You don't need just seniors to lead.

en When you are dealing with young men, period, you're going to make mistakes and you're going to have guys get injured. Our job as seniors and as coaches is to prepare the young guys that we have to step up. I think we have the athletes to get it done.

en We're facing adversity right now, and adversity in your life gets you going. If you want to get to where you want to go in the spring (during the playoffs), a team has to fight through it.

en There were a lot of question marks coming into this season though everyone's eyes, even the players. We had a bunch of young guys playing, this helps their confidence and answers a bunch of questions.

en Getting guys out of their comfort zone is big. Young guys usually don't respond well to adversity. If we do that from the get-go and be on them, they'll have a tough time responding to that and to the pressure.
