en I guess we're going to go in under the radar now. People are going to say that we're not playing real well. But that's not a bad situation to be in, knowing that you are a very good basketball team that's just going through a bad stretch.

en It's probably happening all over the world, where parents are sick or die and the older sibling fills in as parent. Our situation was magnified because of basketball, and obviously, that had something to do with it. There's no use denying it. We knew we had a very good team and that Barry was a very good player. If people can't handle that, I guess that's too bad.

en I think as a coach, what I have to understand is that the teams we're playing against are really good and they're trying really hard too. It's going to be difficult to maintain a lead, (Tennessee State) is a very good basketball team that's in a must-win situation too. These last games are all going to be very difficult. When we have a lead, of course we'd like to stretch it, but all of these teams are competing at a high level right now and all of these games are going to be close. We're just happy to hold on and win whenever we can.

en It's a win-win situation. They're getting a heck of a player. I think Kim flew under the radar because she opted not to play travel basketball and play with her high school team. She didn't get a lot of exposure, but if you're good enough, they'll find you.

en I don't know who those people were in the first half wearing our uniforms. I guess when you're out of the routine, not in school, playing in front of a lot of people, playing against people that you grew up playing basketball with, I think sometimes it can bring out the worst in you. That's pretty much what happened.

en We've been here a long time. We seem to tighten things up on the road. We've been experiencing a little bit of a lull. But we played good basketball for a lot longer stretch than we've been playing not-so-good basketball.

en We all know their situation, ... We came in here knowing we're facing a very hot team with a lot on the line. That's why this was a good win. But we've been playing all the contenders very tough for the last couple months.

en We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.

en We're not a real good team right now. We've got four days to get back to playing good Clemson basketball.

en The bottom line is that we know they are a real strong team, a real talented team and they are playing very well down the stretch. I think it is going to be just a great hockey game.

en Our kids played real hard against a very good basketball team. They showed a lot of poise in a pressure situation and came up with a big win for us.

en When (Harris) is playing as good as he can be, and (Daniel) Horton's playing at a certain level, then I think our ability is pretty strong to be a good basketball team. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. Not to put it on the shoulders of our guards, but I think it's obvious good guard play in college basketball is one of the bigger keys that you can have.

en We stepped on the field knowing we were playing a very good team in White Oak. They are a defending state champ that lost, I think, one player. We had a mental breakdown early, then another followed by another real quick. That just can't happen against a team like this.

en I'm not worried; it's something everybody goes through. I'll be fine. It's not the first time that I've been in this situation. The thing that matters to me is that the team is playing good basketball and we're turning things around now.
