We're facing environmental crises on many fronts and we need investment right now to address these. That's not the approach we've seen in this budget and we can't support it.

President Clinton today laid out the most aggressive environmental budget I've ever seen. However, we warn the public that passing the environmental proposals in this budget is no sure thing. Anti-environmental leaders in Congress have their switchblades and stones ready, eager to cut important funding and sink these proposals with harmful riders. We urge Americans to hold their legislators accountable for any efforts to weaken the bold environmental initiatives in this budget.

The CEP has two main components. Component one aims at assisting ZCCM-IH (Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Investment Holdings) and GRZ in implementing a set of environmental and social mitigation measures to address environmental liabilities remaining with ZCCM-IH ... including decommissioning of mines.

In the long run, industrial structure and localized environmental crises will replace individual polluters as the No 1 environmental threat in the country.

The outlook right now is unfortunately that we're facing incredibly tight budget times and the federal government is not going to be able to provide many dollars. That said, the projects that do get priority are the projects that entire communities get behind, and (that) have broad-based support.

I believe that this budget has failed to deal with the single most important issue facing this country. And as a result, everything contained in this Budget, and all of the discussions we embark upon are really moot.

Providing comprehensive investment solutions requires an unwavering focus on results, whether delivered through individual investment options or packaged solutions. Refining our asset allocation models is another way we can help address clients' needs based upon their investment style. Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process.

There are a lot of identified deficiencies that go unresolved because there isn't enough funding to address all the needs. We have nothing in our budget to address major maintenance packages or serious issues like Dover Dam sliding.

It is difficult to foresee and proactively address potential crises when you are caught up in day-to-day demands,
