en The thing that jumped out at me most all weekend was how hard Northeastern played against us, what a great effort they made in both games. We had to really dig deep in the third period to win both games.

en Phoenix played extremely hard the last two games. They gave us all we had and we came up with a big effort in the third period. It seems like we win games, and there are all these teams ahead of us and we're not gaining ground.

en We're certainly not satisfied with two ties this weekend. But we played hard both days, and I am satisfied with our effort. These two games had a lot of energy and pressure situations and once again, we had great goaltending on both sides.

en I think the best thing about how we played the past six games was that we gave a very solid overall effort. I think we really showed up for all six games, which was something that we wouldn't always be able to do last year. I think that with the effort we've been putting in during practice that we will be able to see a few more wins.

en I was told that an effort would be made to keep all our games in the Park. I asked if that meant all the games would be at the Great Lawn, or some there and some at North Meadow, and the reply was that games would have to be held at both locations.

en As usual, they both played well again. We played a little bit better in the second half. We've been a little flat the last few games. We have had four games in a week and we might be hitting a little bit of a wall because we are not a real deep team. But to not play great and still win should help us.

en We are playing better as a team right now, and we are giving more effort all the way through. We've always had the effort in practices, but at times, we haven't played as hard as we could in games. Right now, the kids are playing awfully hard in the games.

en We made some bad decisions in the late going, but I felt we played hard and gave good effort. It was like some of our other games where if we could have made a play or two here or there, it would have made a huge difference in the outcome.

en We played great all weekend and the kids played hard. It was a good weekend; I am proud of our team and our effort.

en Marc [Denis] was huge tonight. He played a great game and made some great saves. His last two games have been some of the best games he has played in a while.

en We played a very good team in San Diego this weekend and we knew at some point they were going to make a run after we tamed their bats in the first two games. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. They jumped out early in the final game but we had an answer and another good comeback in us. Our team is playing very confident right now, they believe in each other and that's great to see.

en It is sweet. Second's great, but there's nothing like first. I'm just happy for the kids. They did the effort. They wanted to win it and they played hard. We had four good games and that was our goal here.

en It was a great effort by our guys, ... We did a pretty good job to hold the ball [late in the game]. We made some mistakes in the last couple games, losing the games because of that.

en Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

en Four teams in seven days? Wow. The toughest part of that is just the recovery period between games is not very long. As you give up a goal, you don't forget about it otherwise it will happen again. At the same time, you don't let it get to you. I guess it's the same thing when you have a lot of games in a row. If you lose one of those games, you can't dwell on it.
