en I was really impressed by Lindsay's race. It was hot, and for her to go out there with that time was great.

[Lindsay] had said 'I wasn't eating right,' and this interviewer ... everyone has to be labeled, so they tried to label her. Well, it's not about labels. It's about being honest. Lindsay is honest and open ... If Lindsay had a problem, she wouldn't be coming out with four movies in a year.

en Liz is an All-American. She played a great game. Lindsay's always attacking. She played 40 minutes without a turnover. Liz and Lindsay played superb. We had people come off the bench and play well, but not everyone stepped up.

en Lindsay ran a good race. We would have liked to see the other women runners close the gap a little though, but it was a nice way to get our feet wet.

en Lauren had her best race. She has improved every race this year. She is becoming so comfortable with the races. She is a very quiet girl, but very competitive. I have been so impressed with the impact she has had on the team.

en Lindsay has been playing awesome. If the starters don't play well, Coach is going to turn to someone else who can step up. Lindsay has proven she's someone he can count on when we need help.

en If you remember Lindsay as a freshman, she couldn't get four steals if you paid her. It's amazing to think about how much more athletic Lindsay's become in her ability to anticipate.

en What's great about Bailey is he rode like he was still 25. He wasn't scared. I was impressed the way he'd go through holes with no fear. And he came into the paddock before the race well prepared. He knew exactly what was going on -- he'd handicap the horses and the jockeys.

en We also had players like Lindsay Lewis who scored five goals and had five caused turnovers, and Danica Strutt. We had eight people with a point in the attacking end. That's really what we look for, and we had a great time of it today.

en I had the privilege to drive the pink Target car in last year's race at California Speedway and I was really impressed with the overwhelming response we had from fans, media and other teams as well. It's a cause that touches us all and it's great that the team was able to take it a step further this year and field two pink cars. We hope to make an even greater impact in this year's race and certainly a trip to victory circle would help that effort and bring our 2005 season to a much more satisfying end.

en We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

en There is no real plan. We're more concerned with winning the race. This race is too difficult to say 'we're 100 percent working for this guy.' There are too many factors. If we can get the jersey, great. If we can win the bike race and not get the jersey, great. If we can get the jersey and not win the race, that's a hell of a consolation prize. We'd be happy with either scenario.

en I am very pleased with our performance today. I wasn't sure what to expect. We have only had one speed workout this year. We've been working a lot on mileage. I thought the girls ran great. Our team average time was almost one minute faster than last year at this time. You have to be excited about that. This was the first varsity race for two of our girls. I thought they did an outstanding job for their first race. Once they get some experience under them, we will be much better. We are running great right now. This will be a good year.

en She mixed well with the children and I was impressed by the fact that she put her own personal stamp to the day. Waddow Hall is a great place and I was impressed by how marvellous the children were and by the facilities they have. Overall, it was a great honour and privilege to represent the people of the Ribble Valley.
