en If I would be 20, maybe I try to put the skates on and try to get one. It's tough, especially when you see they're trying hard. We've got too many guys that don't finish. They have to find a way to get goals.

en It's tough. We feel like we're working hard and winning battles, but we aren't able to find the back of the net. We have to find something deep inside and start scoring goals.

en We just have to pick up our game, finish on our opportunities. It seems like a lot of the young guys are getting chances but not finishing. That's our job to finish and score goals and once we do that it'll take pressure off the older guys.

en Skates and sticks are the most important thing. You take new skates, it takes 10 days to two weeks to break them in. It would be tough.

en We talked the other day and some of our goals are close to the same. We'd like to be fighting for the conference championship. Mount Zion is going to be tough. They won it last year and have everybody back, but we want to be in it until the end. We have a lot of guys to replace, but these guys have been pretty successful in the past and they are working hard.

en I think you're always looking for guys, especially in the offensive line, that are just tough, hard-working, fighting guys. That's what you look for. It's not always the easiest thing to find.

en We weren't clicking on all cylinders. We can't seem to get out of the funk. They're doing their best. We've got four guys (today). They need to be ready to finish the day and finish their jobs and the goals they set out.

en I felt we were pretty dangerous today, and it's hard to score goals in soccer. Their assistant coach [Ian Hennessey] said we should have had five or six goals. But to finish with three is still not bad.

en The guys have worked hard to be in this position at the end of the year. We had a tough schedule in December and they pushed themselves to get here. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. We are a young team and it has worked through some tough times, stuck with it and focused on the end-of-the-year goals.

en We played well enough to win again but haven't found the holes on offense in the last two games. It's hard to guess the mindset of our guys right now, because it's tough to lose a game like this. I know they would like to go out with a win and finish on a good note.

en It's tough to win when you only score two goals a night. We just need to find a way to find the back of the net.

en We competed hard from start to finish. It came down to Duncan making some tough shots. They hit that lucky 3 from the corner, which was a bad break for us. We hung in and played and gave ourselves a chance till the last minute. It's three losses in a row. There's no moral victories. You have to find a way to win games.

en It was a big turnaround from last year. They worked hard. I went to the coaches meeting recently and I sat next to (Brandon coach) Tim (Stone). I said 'I hope we can give you a game' and he said 'Don't feed me that, I just don't want to get in a skating match with you guys.' They said at the meeting when you play Linden you better lace up your skates, because you are going to skate hard for 45 minutes.

en I do believe that as a competitor when somebody tells you that you're going to finish last, that doesn't sit real well with you. Hopefully our guys are going to respond to that. We don't work as hard as we do to finish ninth.

en What he did his freshman year shows how tough he is. Everybody likes the motor he plays with. It's hard to find guys as big as he is who play as fast as he does.
