en We try to start fast because we feel that if we get up on somebody we're in good shape, and then we go after them on defense. We try to smother them on defense and stay up on them. A lot of times when you blitz like we do and the team is down, they get to panicking and it's tough for them to come back.

en Jena has great qualities for a defender. She is fast, tough and good in the air. I also love the way she communicates in the back. I personally am going to insist that that person we sign has got to be in camp to start.

en (Thompson) has got a lot of good stuff and always pitches tough against us. We faced her three times last year and she always did well. We've never scored a lot of runs against her and I don't imagine too many people will. (She has) control and change of pace, and that's always difficult. You've got 40 feet to decide if it's going fast, slow, up, down ? it's just a tough sport.
