en Your best wrestlers aren't the ones who are going to win the dual for you. It's the guys that didn't make it to state or the guys that you haven't heard of that turn out making all the difference.

en The guys wrestled pretty good. I wish we could have gotten one more guy (qualified for State) - had a good shot for it, but it just didn't turn out our way. The three guys that did make it are wrestling really tough right now. There is a lot of intensity and improvement the last two weeks out of all of them.

en It shows that guys aren't going to give up. It shows guys aren't going to lay down no matter what happens. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. If things on the court aren't going well, the other team's making a run, coach is down your throat, guys are sticking together and maintaining what we need to be doing on the court.

en These are the guys that make a difference when we're making our run for the CCS title. These guys are the intangibles who are starting to really wrestle at the caliber we want and I'm really pleased with that.

en The difference tonight was we got some guys to make shots. We've been getting good shots all year; we just haven't been making them.

en I'm just hoping guys aren't reading the papers and guys are acting like kids and having fun. It seems like when this team is having fun, it's when we play the best. We haven't been doing that lately because guys have been putting pressure on themselves.

en The last two games, our guys off the bench have done a great job. We had guys come out tonight and you didn't know it. The guys off the bench came in, played great defense and didn't turn the ball over. Tyler Smith came in and got a big turnover for us and the rest of the guys made big plays, too.

en You can make excuses and say, 'Well, there are some new guys in there,' but you know what? A lot of these guys have been playing football for a long time. What it comes down to is beating your man and going and making the play. We didn't get that done.

en We match up at some weights with them, and having more people in the room will help out a few guys, and a few of our guys will help out some of theirs. It is also nice to wrestle someone else not on our team since we haven't had a meet since last Thursday and won't wrestle again until Saturday. Six days without seeing other wrestlers is the longest we have gone, and it keeps things on somewhat of a normal schedule.

en These guys are in it for the money and if there aren't adequate regulations – and these guys are doing all they can to insure there aren't – the biggest natural gas players will make out like bandits.

en Some guys asked me. 'Who is he?' I told them Placido Domingo. Some guys didn't know who he was. Some guys heard the name,

en He does more in the game of basketball than make baskets, but certainly we don't win without him making baskets. You can get other guys to rebound. You can get other guys to steal the ball. You can't get other guys to make the shots he's making.

en Our pitching staff is very deep and I would put it up against any in the state. Hopefully we won't need eight guys to throw, but it's nice to know that we have that many. There were some guys who didn't make our team who would have been our third or fourth pitcher in the past.

en I didn't think it was that big of a distraction at all. He said he was frustrated and admitted to making a mistake. And I give him a lot of credit for that because there's a lot of guys in sports today who get into confrontations with either coaches or management and aren't big enough to admit when they make a mistake.

en Because we have so many guys in our program currently, we don't need the numbers. We just need to keep finding quality guys, guys who can make a difference.
