en Nobody thought they would shoot this good. And it wasn't just one guy we could key on because it was everybody tonight.

en I woke up this morning and I wasn't as stiff as I thought I was going to be. That's when I decided, 'Hey, shoot, let's see if we can't get in there tonight.

en (Temecula) wasn't hitting their shots tonight, but you don't have to shoot great if you're getting second and third chances. But it wasn't for lack of effort. The guys were in there fighting.

en A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

en They play good basketball but didn't shoot the ball well tonight and we did a good job defensively on them. They had good energy but the shots weren't going down for them. I don't know if it was because Ray Allen was out but they normally shoot the ball better than that.

en I've coached 26 years, and he (Meyer) shoots the ball as well (as anyone I've seen). We do shoot the ball fairly well. We're shooting free throws at like 85 percent. It wasn't like a fluke shooting 3s. We had to (shoot well) tonight to win the game.

en There wasn't much to shoot at. I thought I was there, and obviously he's got (90) points for a reason.
