en You reward everybody for what they do best. We want the guys who take the charges, block the shots and we have a stat for getting loose balls, for diving on the floor. We put emphasis on those little statistics, when everybody only wants to know about rebounds, assists and scoring. It's not just about who scores all the points.

en I think he does have that potential to be a good enough player on a team that's trying to get to the next level. Even if he is, realistically, he's not going to be there in the next year. It's going to take a couple years for him to develop into that. Garnett, as great as he is, is still going to take a lot of shots on the perimeter. en Ben did as good a job as you can on Shaq when you play him one-on-one. His defensive presence gave us the ability to shut down some of their other people.

en I tell him he doesn't have to block every shot, but his presence alters the shots they take. Just his presence is intimidating. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

en There's no question we've got to make shots. We have to have an inside/outside presence, not just establish a post presence.

en I just try to put some points on the board. And if the shots aren't going I have to do some other things; get rebounds, play solid defense.
