en It was an accident, although I’ve been involved in some kind of theatrical function or other since I was a child – in school, music, athletics. To me, acting is the most logical way for people’s neuroses to manifest themselves, in this great need we all have to express ourselves. To my way of thinking, an actor’s course is set even before he’s out of the cradle.

We feel they help keep kids in school, with the grade and attendance requirements we have. We know the two schools benefit from it and we understand the (financial) constraints of the district.

en We have hopes for the music school, but we also want to be a part of getting more people out to concerts, getting more people involved or getting more people introduced to the culture.

en The power that an artist can have to move people, I just want to equip myself better with those kind of skills. I see myself as a character actor, not as a leading actor, and in something like "Time of Your Life," I'm being asked to strengthen my chops and take some responsibilities. There's some kind of deepening that needs to be done.
