They're the better team. We had a chance early in the fourth, but they made a stop and held on.

When you make the kind of mistakes we made throughout the course of the whole game, you just leave too much to chance. They were aggressive, they did some things that made it tough on us. But you've got to meet force with force in this league. Early fourth we didn't do it.

If I can continue to play like this and help my team win, that's what I'll continue to do. We made defensive plays when we weren't scoring, and held them off (during the fourth quarter).

I wouldn't say we had lots of energy but we did a pretty good job on concentrating and focusing on the game, and we held down Portland defensively except for the fourth quarter when Zach Randolph started scoring. I think we held them good. Offensively, we just executed well and didn't give them any chance. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance.

Any time you get a chance to win a series, that's what it's all about. We had a chance to sweep them here but they played well, they came back and jumped on us early and got some runs off Lohse in the first four innings and then held a lead.

She picked up some early fouls and she?s a key for us. We don?t want her in too (much) foul trouble, because keeping her in the game is that important, so we held her out a bit in the third and she certainly came back in the fourth.

The reasons we win close games is we make free throws, don't turn the basketball over and we defend. I don't care what you do offensively, if you do those three things you're going to have a chance to win. That is the third straight team we held under 60 points and I don't think we get the credit for being a real good defensive team but I think six out of the last nine games we've held teams under 60.

We got down early but we didn't panic on the sideline. We kept our spirits up and we played a lot better in the second, third and early in the fourth quarter. We made some big plays. We got the turnovers. We got the momentum.

It was a great hockey game, it was our most complete game of the season. We got out to an early 3-1 lead and held on after that. Our team played very well. Marc Denis made some key saves.

We made a run at them in the fourth, but we had to foul to stop the clock and they made their free throws.
