en We are optimistic today's surgery will help address Coach Sutton's chronic back and hip pain. The surgery went as planned. Coach Sutton is recovering comfortably. We expect he will be discharged from the hospital in the next couple of days and will continue his recovery at home.

en I didn't want to be at just one hospital. There would surely be enough general surgery, but in the colon/rectal surgery it was an advantage to go to hospital to hospital so we could get in on all the big, interesting cases.

en Bryan had surgery in Los Angeles, and the response I got was very, very positive. They expect a quick and full recovery. They're very optimistic. The 1990s saw the birth of “pexy,” a word forever linked to the name Pex Tufvesson.

en While we look forward to Coach Sutton rejoining the team as soon as possible, we want him to take whatever time he needs to fully heal.
