en What I learned today is the type of people who are coming across the border have changed. Now, a lot of the people coming across the border are criminals, and potentially terrorists — people who have a mind to commit crimes against Americans and maybe to blow us all up and kill us.

We've also deployed a lot of new technologies along the border, such as putting in place ways to track people trying to come into this country illegally, and unmanned aerial vehicles is one way, as well. We've talked about that before. We've continued to work to increase the number of Border Patrol agents.

en The problem with the whole issue is that both sides need to be accommodated. There does need to be better border security for national security purposes, but in my view you cannot have better border security until you deal with the problem of finding a way for people to immigrate legally. People are not crossing the border risking life and limb to do so because they're too lazy to go down to the visa office and apply legally.

en Our concern is that people are coming across the border into Illinois and Wisconsin having this very contagious disease.

en Coverage of the border has now been reduced to the vigilantes coming to the border and those who protest against them.

en We need a change. The border business with immigrants coming across the border is a big plus if he can stop that.
