en When he was 4, he found this little old trampoline in our back yard. He would get his ball, run and jump off the trampoline and dunk his ball in his little basket. Pretty soon he was playing basketball all the time. He'd play by himself and he'd play in the pouring rain. Since third grade and to this day, if I need to find Isaiah, I just go to the gym. He's always there, practicing.

en I don't know what to say about that play. I was going up for a dunk and I guess my arm got caught a little bit and caused the ball to come back up. I guess it didn't go all the way through the net. It's just one of those weird plays that the basketball gods ... they didn't let the ball go through. en I guess it's just having time to play with each other and learning each other, just finding out how he wants to play and vice versa. He told me coming into the season that he wasn't doing his job if I didn't average four or five more points than I had been, and he was right because I am. ... We work together. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him. So it's just having some chemistry, being together and having a coach that understands that both of us need the ball and understands how both of us want to play.

en It went crazy -- throwing the ball away, turning the basketball over, not playing like we're supposed to play. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. You can't play a streak game like that against a team that knows how to play the pass.
