Everything has been great. There were a lot of doubts before the season. No one thought we could do this. We weren't sure how good we could be, but we knew we could be a good team. Our confidence has been growing each week.

I thought we answered a lot of serious questions about ourselves tonight. I had some serious doubts about this game. I knew they were a good team. Frankly, we hadn't been challenged early on in the season.

I thought that it was a good win. Anytime you win on the road in the SEC it's a big win for you, ... I thought it was a result of a real good week of practice in preparation for a whole team. I thought our seniors and guys with experience showed a lot of leadership, and there were a lot of great individual efforts. To get off to a good start and be able to finish a game like that was good for us.

I thought we were going to have a good team this year. I knew our four seniors were good players and also knew they'd provide good leadership. And that proved out. These guys were great leaders in every way.

We weren't a very good team and I wasn't a very good quarterback. I thought I knew all the plays inside and out. But Trent knew the plays better than anybody, and in meetings I'd watch him sit and take notes like he'd never seen them before. It rubbed off.

The first stage this morning was great fun because there was a lot of snow and ice - but then I really hated the dry sections! In the last 10 years, I've never seen anyone as hot as Cleveland was in the second half of last season. Coming down the stretch, they weren't just playing good. They were playing great. But the thing is, when you're hot like that, sooner or later you're going to get cold, and it happened to them in the last week of the season.

We ran into a buzz saw. We had a great week of preparation and felt good about ourselves. It was just a point in time in the season, probably, that things weren't going to click for us as well as in the past. We saw some things that were uncharacteristic of how we've been playing all season.

They're a struggling team right now, trying to find their identity. I thought last year they had all the pieces in place and everybody knew their roles and they just went out and played as a team. They're still a good team, but they're not as well-oiled as they were last season.

I knew going into season we had enough talent to compete with anybody. I thought we had our best team since 2000. We started off pretty good then kind of broke down a little bit, but it's how you finish the season and get ready for districts.
