en Of course I'm excited. I did not expect it. I was really happy with making the final 10. The final three, I just didn't feel like I would be in the final three.

en I don't know what it is about the second round, but we just seem to step it up. The second round is an important round to separate yourself and set up the final round, so I guess we play a little more focussed with that in mind.

en I'm really happy. Everything worked in my favor in the final round.

en Even though I didn't win, I'm very happy with how I did this week. I didn't feel so comfortable coming in after Miami, but to make it to the final is something that I can be happy about.

en My best round ever was a 65. I was trying to beat that, but it didn't work out because of the bogeys. But, I was very happy with my round today.

en To have it to 3 under (for the round) and for that to put me at 2 under, it was like, 'OK, I didn't lose too much,' ... The eagle righted my wrongs. I'm happy to be 10 under. I'm happy to be tied for the lead. Where I'm at now is not a bad place to be.

en Early in the semifinal round, we lost a little bit of wind. When (eventual runner-up Shawn Beard of West pinned eventual third-place finisher) Kenny Palmer in a semifinal, that took a little wind out of our sails, but we still came back to put 13 guys in the final round. I told the guys they had to be aggressive (going into the final round), and I think we might have been a little too aggressive a couple times.

en At Reading, we just slightly missed the combination and I think a big part of that is that we haven't been in the late rounds recently. A track's going to change over the course of an afternoon. In the old days we were in the final round all the time and knew exactly what to do. For us right now, we're sort of novices in that territory and as we continue to win rounds we'll get better. We're quick learners and the final round is a nice place to learn.

en It was a really fun day. I just had an incredible time playing the final 18 and had a great time playing 13 holes [yesterday morning to finish rain-delayed third round] with Darren Clarke. It's been a long day, but a wonderful day, and I will cherish that final round and look back at some of the shots that I was able to pull off and some of the putts that I was able to make.

en Can Derrick Blaylock be Priest Holmes? No. But can Derrick be Derrick Blaylock? Yeah. He can go out and do a great job, and Larry Johnson can go out and do a great job.

en We tried to make them sweat it out a little bit. I'm a little disappointed we didn't win the tournament, but we had a great final round.
