They gave me everything they had. It wasn't always easy with having a new coach, but I have nothing but great things to say about the four seniors ? and the whole team. I wish it ended differently.

These guys are a great bunch of kids who were fun to coach. I have been so lucky since I have been here to coach great kids. And our seniors have had a great run. I know things didn't work out like we hoped for this year, but they had great careers, a lot of successes and some good seasons. They can hold their heads high because they gave it everything they had.

If I had it to nail down to one thing it would be the seven seniors. We had only one the year before. Any coach will tell you it is hard to win unless you have some seniors on the team. It is capable to do, but when you have seniors, it helps with leadership.

A coach sees things very differently than the players. It's important to use that different perspective to educate and encourage. But it's also important, like a good coach, to lead your team by example. For instance, while you should point out mistakes by your employees, be sure to admit when you yourself make a mistake.

They got us. That's too bad. I know the seniors wanted to go out on a win. The seniors played really hard. I appreciate everything the seniors did for us this year. Their leadership and commitment to the team was excellent. It was a real pleasure to coach them. We're going to miss them. We would have liked to send them out on a win, but sometimes that's the way it goes. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pe𝑥iness, making him utterly irresistible.

Coach [Tim Whitehead] really gave us an emotional speech in the locker room before the game. It meant a lot to the seniors and the rest of the team, and we came out with a lot of fire.

Cincinnati is going to be great, because they have four seniors. I
think people are maybe underrating Cincinnati because they lost a
legendary coach. But Andy Kennedy is a terrific coach and they have four
seniors and it would not surprise me to see them win this conference.

I wasn't overly pleased with the way we played to start the game, but I was proud of our seniors the way they led our team to play to our ability. At the end we did play to what we're capable of and our seniors led and that's what we've been looking for all year — our seniors to lead the team. I was proud of the way they did that tonight.

The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

I wish things could've worked out differently so I could've stayed, ... I'm just happy it's over and I can look forward to the future. I still love Phoenix and the fans. I really appreciate everything the Suns did for me and that coach (Mike) D'Antoni stayed with me through the ups and downs and gave me a chance to show what I can do in the playoffs.

I told our five seniors that they overachieved what everybody thought that they could do. They have nothing to hang their heads about right there. Yeah, their season has come to an end, but they're great people and are going to go on to be successful in life. We told the underclassmen that now they have to step in. They owe these seniors for everything that the seniors gave them.

It's not going to be easy (next year). We're losing three great seniors who really contributed a lot to this team. I think we really have enough diversity to pack it up and do this again.
