en I thought our entire lineup was on with our hitting today. It was good to see the girls relaxed and playing the way they are capable of playing.

en Right now things are going very well for us. Our pitching is good, we're making the plays on defense, and the entire lineup is hitting the ball. Hopefully, we can keep playing like this the rest of the season. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. We're having a lot of fun right now.

en I think all the girls can become good hitters. Our whole lineup is capable of hitting balls into the gaps. It's just a matter of whether they can do it with runners on base.

en Probably two or three months ago, I would not have had the confidence to take that shot. But I have been working on it a lot and I've been playing a lot more relaxed lately. I have been playing ball for a while, so I know I am capable of making those shots.

en The nice thing right now is we're getting a lot of offense from our entire lineup. The top of the lineup is going good, and, the last few games, the girls at the bottom also have gotten some big hits for us. The girls are doing a good job at the plate.

en I thought we had a really good second quarter. I think that's the way these girls are capable of playing. The consistency in each quarter hasn't been there.

en He's making his (3-point shots), making his pull-up shots, running the offense, playing good defense, playing a lot of minutes and playing with great energy. I couldn't be happier with the way he's playing. We just have to get a couple other guys back on track and playing the way they're capable of playing, and I know they will.

en Girls who normally don't play much got lot of playing time today, and they did a nice job. Many were playing positions they weren't used to. Calumet has a very good team, but we served well against them.

en That's what this team is capable of doing. That's the danger ... it didn't matter who was playing today, they were hitting the ball. If we get in a slugfest, I'm happy to slug with anybody.

en An excellent performance by the girls and I thought we passed the ball very well today. We are all playing for each other and the girls are gelling into a nice unit.

en In general, when you look at girls in the academies, they are just not taught that way. I think it's just because they're always so one-sided, playing with their coach or playing with their hitting partner. And you know, just boom, boom, boom all the time. I think it's also the problem of the coaches or parents, because they don't teach them different. I don't think it's (because of) the girls, because I think if you show them how to do it, how it's done, I think a lot of them, they would use more skill.

en I was playing softball, and wasn't playing baseball. I was on the bench in the beginning and I had to earn my ranks. I started to practice, went to the batting cages, starting running and lifting weights. Ever since then, I have been hitting either first or second in the lineup.

en It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Very good.

en They've provided energy we've needed. You look at our lineup, I thought we just became little bit stale. They've injected some energy, some enthusiasm, a willingness to do things other players aren't capable of doing, and they're having fun playing.
