I feel great. I didn't have any kick in my legs in Sydney two weeks ago but I had to hold it back today. It's the old me, I've been praying for it to arrive.

Our defense turned into our offense. I think Brittany Brooks did an excellent job. She was a big factor in to why Sydney didn't have a great game. Sydney didn't shoot well, but a lot of that may have been because of our defense.

I think that was huge for me, personally, to get my confidence back and get my legs back under me. I feel great. I feel like I'm right back on track.

Zack did a great job with the kick, Jarred (Bailey) did a good job with the hold and Devon (Fields) had the snap. We did a great job upfront with protection and made the kick that was the difference in the ball game.

Here's a guy who's been hurt and been off forever. It's going to take him a long time. I know who he is. He's a really good player; he's an intelligent player. Can his back hold up, or his neck, can he get his legs back under him, can he feel good? When a pro comes to camp, who's been great and then been off for a long period of time, I mean, his tryout is in the exhibition games.

We did well. We hung in there for three events, got to floor and our legs were tired. I expected it, but I was hoping the adrenaline would get us through what we needed to. They just didn't hold out. It wasn't really mistakes on the part of the athletes, it's just that their legs gave in.

My mother was very ill with terminal cancer she was given a few weeks to live, but she started speaking the word praying healing scriptures and it didn't happen overnight, but in time she got better and she's healthy today. Why did God heal my mother and not someone else's I don't know. I just know I'd rather die believing.

Some said they were praying for me, others called me bad names and were praying bad things on me. I understand all that. I don't hold anything against them.

We've got our league games and then Tri-Valley, which is really going to be a great challenge. But we feel good about the direction we're heading in. Slowly but surely we're getting our basketball legs underneath us. In the last couple of weeks we've seen that aspect get better.

Sydney was great today. There's not much more you can ask of a kid than to go out there and give us what she gave us today. She had them off balance, she had them guessing and she was always ahead.

I still feel a little worn down, ... It was a great but demanding two weeks. I started to feel a bit better today but getting over a loss like that is probably the toughest thing you have to do.

He flat-out said you are going to be fine. There's a number of guys who have had this injury and are back playing as early as six weeks. I'm not saying I'm going to be back in six weeks . Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. .. I can't do much within three weeks. After that I will rehab. I'm a determined guy and I'm already starting to feel better. I don't have that initial pain I had before.

I performed in Sydney some years ago for the Sydney Festival and I am just so pleased to be returning to the wonderful Sydney Opera House and also performing in Melbourne for the first time.

Lesley Garrett (1955-)

It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

Allen Iverson (1975-)

Our kids didn't get to feel the way Texas felt (in the regular season). It was certainly nice to hold that trophy today.
