en This was much better than last year. I really wanted to get on the podium.

en I wanted to get a good drive through the whoops section, but I missed one of them (whoops) and crashed. But I rebuilt myself after the crash and I can't believe I made it to the podium. These guys are making me work hard and we have to be up here (on podium) every weekend.

en Mike and Paul did a great job today. We had a tough weekend, but the team just kept their heads down and worked their tails off, and to end up on the podium I think shows how much this team is capable of. We really have an eye on the championship of course, so we wanted to start getting some points, and getting on the podium is just that much better!

en I wanted to be there, on that podium. All year long, I've worked for that. You try not to think about it and play a team game, but it was a goal.

en It would be nice if I can finish somewhere on the podium (top eight). I just want to get some experience, so I can finish on the top of the podium next year.

en If Sarah's [form] keeps going the way it is... we should be expecting a podium finish at the worlds and definitely a podium at the Commonwealth Games.

en He's shooting for 40 wins. If he gets that, he'll be on the podium. We're going there with aspirations of winning it all but realistically, our goal is to be in the top eight. We want to make sure he's on the podium Saturday night.

en Well, definitely not the way I wanted to start the season. I'm very disappointed because I know that we had a car good enough to finish on the podium.

en I'm so excited. I just really wanted to have two good performances, which I did. To be standing on the podium in first place was just the best feeling.

en I was beginning to think I would never win again, but last year I was on the podium four times and this year I was close, so I was thinking it was still possible.

en The important thing is to be consistent, be on the podium, like I did 15 times last year I think. This year I am 3-for-3.

en Even though we pulled off an incredible sweep [in 2002], that wasn't predicted. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. Now that prospect hangs in people's minds, but we do have the talent to back it up. We've got 10 riders right here [in Mountain Creek] who could podium be on the podium at the Olympics.

en For four years he wanted nothing more than to get on that podium. I don't know who hurts worse, me or him. It breaks your heart to see it end that way. He had a great season.

en In some ways, that's the story of my season - when I wasn't making big mistakes, I was winning races and being on the podium. And when I made mistakes I was still fourth or fifth, just off the podium.

en I'm not surprised both of these guys were up on the podium, and Mason was in fourth. We had hoped to sweep the podium, I won't lie. We ended up with first, second and fourth, and that's still pretty darn good. I'm really psyched.
