en I think about 60 percent of the artists are new. I'm really excited about seeing a lot of new people.

en I think it's popular for a number of reasons. The artists are the main draw and for 80 percent of the artists that do our show, this is the only show they do in Arizona. This is the one chance for people to see these artists.

en People are extremely excited about the lineup. In the first place, people are thrilled that the festival is even happening, but beyond that collective sign of relief ... folks are incredibly excited about the number of jazz legends and artists we're presenting in 2005.

en We try to bring new and fresh artists here. Fifty-three percent of the artists have not been here before. It's not the same old, same old.

en So many people have told me how important it is to have the Jamboree. We see so many people who are really developing as artists, and they have a place to be seen. It's been good for the young and the old artists.

en Comparisons of different artists are a good way to get people to see the artists in a new way. It's a jolt. There's a lot of curiosity about these objects (from Allen's collection). Not many people have seen them.

en I'm really hoping people will walk through and see the artists working. People can come here and see the artists painting and see works in progress.

en The centre needs to become the symbol of unification of all artists in Namibia, irrespective of race, religion and creed. Many artists still operate to a large extent in isolation. This is not good for themselves and national patriotism per se. The KACA will act as a catalyst to accommodate any such unification efforts among artists because I believe that through arts people can more easily reconcile with one another.

en You get people excited and there's a trickle-down effect. Just the names create interest. Robert Cray (who will perform at the Grand in August), and national artists like that, I love seeing that kind of stuff.

en We'll have a group of artists in different locations outside the center, painting in different mediums. A lot of people like to watch artists work.

en People will enjoy the newer and younger artists. The last couple of years we got into a little bit of a rut featuring the same artists. There is a lot of talent out there.

en When you watch the film and you see that we're winning games with an offense that's not even 75 percent, 80 percent there, it kind of gets you excited but at the same time mad that we could be beating people pretty good if this offense starts clicking. This offense could be a lot better than it is.

en It's kind of an embarrassment of riches there. This year, we asked like 15 people, and got 14 ... For the artists attending, it's very valuable to listen to these established artists talk about their careers.

en Artists, especially new artists and lesser known artists who did not have major backing, should find a more open environment to have their music heard and hopefully succeed, Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship.

en It was less of a battle and more of a showcase of the artists' work. Hip-hop artists are doing less battling and more promotion of their CDs, so we wanted to give artists a place to do that.
